Calls Go Straight To Voicemail Without Ringing: Solved

Calls Go Straight To Voicemail Without Ringing: Several users have said that their phone calls are going straight to voicemail. Users have also said that when they get a call, the iPhone doesn’t ring.

There are several things that could cause this problem. The worst thing that could happen is that your iPhone gets broken. But it’s likely that you have this problem because you changed some settings by accident and made your phone silent. This article tells you what you can do to fix and stop this problem.

This is a serious issue. It could mean you miss important phone calls. If you are having problems, your phone won’t ring and you won’t get any calls. Instead, you will only get voicemail messages. People who have been trying to call you will now only get your voicemail.

When someone calls you, your phone will usually ring, and if you don’t pick it up, the caller will be sent to your voicemail.

Restart your iPhone before you do anything else. This might solve your problem.

Calls Go Straight To Voicemail Without Ringing

Airplane mode

If you turn on “Airplane mode,” your calls will go straight to voice mail. In airplane mode, your iPhone’s wireless signals are turned off. This is easy to check by going to the Settings app. You can turn your settings on or off by touching the Airplane mode slider. Make sure the switch is off.

Volume setting

It could be that the volume of the ringer is too low. Your phone might not seem to be ringing. You might need to change how loud your phone rings. This is also simple. Go to Settings > Sounds and Touch on your iPhone. Under “Ringer and Alerts,” move the slider to the level you want, and try to make it louder. Make sure the volume is loud enough so that you can hear it. If this slider is turned down, your speaker might be broken, so you might want to call Apple Support.

Ring/Silent Mode

On the left side of your iPhone is a switch that lets you turn the ringer on or off. All alerts and notifications can be turned off with the Ring/Silent switch. But when you get a call, your iPhone may still vibrate. When you move the button, a short message will pop up on your screen.

Do Not Disturb

If your iPhone is in Do Not Disturb mode, you won’t get any alerts, including calls, and all calls will go straight to voicemail (please note that you can set up exceptions for certain numbers). If there is a crescent moon icon in the status bar, this mode is active. You can check this setting by going to Settings > Do Not Disturb. You can also open Control Center and touch and hold the moon icon to change this setting.

Bedtime

Do you use the “Bedtime” function? A lot of people use this to keep track of how they sleep. By default, when you turn on Bedtime, your iPhone will automatically turn on Do Not Disturb while you sleep. As was already said, your calls will be stopped.

During bedtime, if you use this feature, you can turn off “Do Not Disturb.” Simple, just open the Clock app and tap the Bedtime tab. Then tap Options (top left) and turn off Do Not Disturb During Bedtime. Then, click Done (top-right corner).

Callers we don’t know

If you have iOS 13 or later, you can use a new feature called Silence Unknown Callers to stop spam calls. If you turn this feature on, calls from people you’ve never talked to before will be muted and sent to your voicemail. If you get calls from people in your contacts list, from people you’ve talked to recently, or from people you’ve talked to or talked about in a text or email, these calls will not go straight to your voicemail. Instead, they will ring first. Go to Settings > Phone and scroll down to the Call Silencing and Blocked Contacts section to change this setting.

Also, if you’re using a third-party app to find spam calls, check the app’s settings to make sure you’re not blocking legitimate calls.

Numbers that are blocked

If you only get voicemail from some numbers, make sure they are not blocked. You can block certain numbers. When a person you have blocked calls you, they will go straight to your voicemail. Go to Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts to see and change the numbers you have blocked. You can take some numbers off the list if you want to.

Get your iPhone updated

Please make sure to update your iPhone. It’s very easy to keep your device up to date. Just click Settings, then General, then Software Update. This will look for new versions. If there is an update, tap Download and Install and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Additional notes:

If nothing else works, this problem could be caused by broken hardware or problems with the network.

Your speaker could use some help. Apple can help you with service.
Talk to the company that runs your cell phone. It’s possible that there are problems with the system as a whole.
